About Your Guide
I’ve been where you are, building something meaningful, working hard to make it a success, yet waking up already feeling behind.
Before I started my own business, I pushed so hard for fulfilment that I burnt out completely, forcing me to step away from my 20-year career in education leadership. I thought if I worked hard enough, achieved enough, and did enough, I’d finally feel at peace.
When I started my own business, I told myself it would be different. That having more control over my time and work would bring ease.
But overwhelm was still there.
Before my workday even began, my mind would already be racing, listing everything I ‘should’ be doing, everything I hadn’t done yet, everything that still wasn’t ‘enough.’
I saw the pattern. It wasn’t my workload. It was the way my inner critic shaped how I approached my work. And I knew if I didn’t change that, I’d burn out all over again.
That’s why I created Overcoming Overwhelm, not as another strategy to ‘fix’ overwhelm, but as a way to help you step beyond it.
